Waters Still Yet Beat Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Waters Still Yet Beat

The waters still yet beat
As hammers
One beat after other
All
In the rhythm
All
In the sage adding up
Propense to Fibonacci numbers
And the like
Or else equivalent:
One beat after the other
From a humble heap
Of stones
Palaces be built for
Princes, dames, courtiers
In old Valletta
