Waters Rose Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Waters Rose

'the waters rose
yesterday
beware of the green
ford
the dangers be in it
and
at night more'
so said he:
'I will not
be longer than an
hour'

so rode he unto
the green ford

she awaited till Dawn
and more
but he came not
she pined by dusk
and
the next night
in white dress
unmoving found her
