Watering Your Thirsty Garden Poem by Hebert Logerie

Watering Your Thirsty Garden

I'll come to water your garden
Darling, early morning
Before dawn when the birds
Start to chirrup in their beds
Where my velvety scissors
Will be very well whetted.

I will serenade your pretty flowers
Sprinkle you with humor and happiness
And tickle you with a feather of kisses
Darling, do not forget to bring
A cup filled with honey syrup
To surfeit me in your heaven.
