Water Tower Poem by Daniel Miltz

Water Tower

A huge tank with water heavyweight
Alone, standing straight
Upon spidery legs structure
Not built by nature
Pointing into the sky
Reaching up to touch the clouds high
Rust color of metal mountain
Throws a big round shadow in the sun grin
Stands above the town
Next to a playground
Can be seen for miles around
It has a ladder leading up the trail
To the base of the tank rail
Times, climbed by thrill seekers
Answering a dare
Seeking a stare
To be on the top crown
Here in water tower town
