Your song is informed by fluidity of water. By following water we know ourselves to be interwoven with the life of Gaia. Water belongs to the extended body of cosmic man, because it is a nexus for the cosmic blueprint of life. Water outside of the human body is part of life, just as water inside the body is, because circulation marries inside to outside. All the components of life interact in the medium of water. Animate vs. inanimate is an artificial distinction when it comes to water. The constant jostling of water molecules nudges amino acids so they fit into their templates and join as chains. Water is the shepherd of lipids, repelling them so that they join as membranes. Water lets ions form gradients across membranes, then restores equilibrium in electrolytic pulses. Water suspends colloids at the edges of their phase boundary, so they are constantly forming and reforming. Water needs a hump of caloric energy to evaporate; it needs a hump of caloric energy to boil. It stores heat and transmits heat, but as ice it insulates. It has high surface tension but zero viscosity. There is no end of secret things that water does. It is simple in the sense that it is elemental, yet it gives itself to life in a multitude of ways. There is nothing random about the way water is.
