Bless your heart, Sylvia. You have given happiness to a lonely soul even if it is just for a period of time. The kindness you have given and shown to her had gone a long way. You made her happy by the care and love you have shown. You are indeed a woman of faith and a child of God. Your acts and words are in unity with God. Such a noble endeavor. You are indeed a blessing. Thank you for your kindness. Very uplifting poem. Onto my Poem List.
What a touching story. It pinched the heart and made me cry. So poignant. Yes, life may be meaningless to those who are so alone. Yet, when we are with God, we could never be alone.

Life can be very tiring for those who are alone.Beautiful piece.
THank you so much, dear Kostas, your visit and response are always appreciated. Not only alone, but she is old and tired, she told me.I am the lucky one who was allowed to help her. Thank you for your precious compliment.
Sylvia, you are fondly remembered as a true friend in whom a miserable soul could always derive comfort and support! Her last words reveal the depth of gratitude she has for you! We may not be able to do great things for another person, but we can be a good listener when someone unburdens his/ her heart. Also a confidant! I suppose you did that for her. With you, I too pray.... 'May her soul rest in peace'!
