Mj- - - hahahahahahahaha- - I like that memory, I shall have to find nicknames for my clutter! ! ! That's one thing about being writers- -we get to make-up stories and not be called liars! Thank you for enjoying my humor! ! ! !

Never stand in the way of a migration! ! This poem stirred a memory...all the way back in college I knew someone who needed to make way for such migrations, but never got around to it. Instead, he actually did begin referring to the clutter as his 'roommate.' I now see that as proof of any assertion that things do indeed assume their own identity....I always hope that identity makes room for migration. Brilliant verse, Susan. A perfect 10!

Here very cleverly has used flocks to address the main theme of the poem, then the technique of putting these 2 long words to be washed...we have to be careful..always the great poet trying to renewing their form and language too...susan always bright...well done

I have a ridiculous sense of humor that I love turning loose on the common housewifely chores I have to do instead of fub stuff like riding or writing! ! I am glad you enjoyed my run together words!

Susan, this is the funniest Spring cleaning poem that i have read. I loved your vocabulary - trashbird and junkbird variety- ha ha ha - even 'Noroomtositdownitis' maladies! You have brought Spring fun into cleaning the house. i have now incentive to clean my rooms too, thinking of your Spring cleaning poem. For the best Spring humour poem ever.....a big vote!

Part 2 We had serious problems only with the toys of my daughter. All the toys from her toddlerhood were seriously and zealously retained over the change of many houses in as many cities.. Loved this poem, embellished with the deepest of nostalgia. Hilarious.

I am so pleased when you report that I made you smile! ! ! I know what you mean about the collection of toys- -one feels like a monster if they trim the herd because a child will never outgrow a toy even if they don't play with it anymore! ! !

Hi Susie, Haha! ! Loved this one. I was working with a bank and used to a transfer every three years or so, as is the norm within the banking industry in India. So we changed sixteen houses during my career. Thus, all the “Stuffitis, WhateverIwaskeepingthatforitis and Noroomtositdownitises” used to get discarded at least at these intervals. Contd

I have often thought that moving was the only way I would ever keep a clean and tidy and organized House! ! ! ! ! !

That's what I need- to move every three years and thus get rid of stuff sooner rather than collect 30 years of stuff stuffed in every nook and cranny! ! ! !

I had a giggle at this...Isn't that always the way....out it all comes...and there it all is... traffic jams in hallways obstructing piles in corridors...what to keep or not.... and all to be sorted into new homes... and that can take some time. I started in a flurry and slow right down with my nose in some book or journal or deliberating over some keepsake. Love it :)

Oh if it were only in the spring! I like the spartan environment of a monk’s cell and the Japanese esthetic, and my wife finds it hard to pass up great buys at estate and yard sales and tends to leave out the stuff from her projects. Oh well... Hoping you’re well, Susan, Glen

hahahahahahahahaha, Don't knock your wife- -I have saved every drawing and school homework that my children brought home. It sounds like spring cleaning in your house might resemble a battlefield! ! ! ! Thank you for the cheer!

Ha! I started my spring cleaning during out polar vortex and ended up with a dumpster in my driveway that couldn't be removed for months...and then a war with the trash company over their charges for said dumpster that couldn't be removed. And don't watch that Marie Kondo...she'll really mess with your spring cleaning. Thanks for sharing your poetry Susan! Love to you, friend.

hahahahahahahahaha, or should I cry? ? ? Whatever did you put in that bin? A couch? A bed? It sounds like spring cleaning in your house might resemble a pillaging! ! ! ! Thank you for the cheer! Though that bin company sounds like they stink big time.

The migration route extends. The warning is given to recover them from the danger. Normal to the mass migration of these birds attracts attention of poetic mind and for their safety poet's heart cries. Spring Cleaning Humor is amazingly expressed in this poem. This is a thought provoking poem shared.10
