This one always makes me feel sad. At times, because of mental health issues, I can have trouble controlling my anger. I hate that sometimes I make people feel afraid or wary. This poem invoked the same feeling, only in regard to race relations. I understand it very well. Another thing that makes Hughes great - he can get you to feel what he wants you to feel.
It might mean beware of the tornado for it says it uproots trees. I really like it
