Robbed of all God’s destiny

A brilliant and unique piece, one that could have arisen only from the angst of two souls thinking as one Congratulations!

I applaud and revered your toil in this poetry, an eminently stimulating poetry, and had metamorphosed me into a genuine poet.

The poem carries a very clear and true message to warlords. Keep on creating your weapons of words. Love be the victorious....

You have succed to keep a core of politic meaning, how to gain a power in their mind (Warlord) , with their ego: they give a welfare promise only, but people always hungry, no job and poor everywhere.

Hi dear Carol, you'd never fail to amuse me with yer hyper illustrative academician kinda comments. You're some kind of ideologist to me.Every words of you are the breath that I breathe! I wonder if our minds could clique as one.I really mean it. Yours Truly, Sulaiman

Sulaiman, you and your collaborator have brilliantly and passionately tapped into a problem that has existed since man has inhabited this planet. You've captured poignantly the horrors resulting from the sociopathic narcissistic diabolical megalomaniacal minds/psyches of politicians, dictators, religious leaders, warlords, ad infinitum. In my not so humble opinion, nothing will ever change until we, the people, give up our mythologically convenient self-placating beliefs which lead to being herded like sheep and which generate and justify our hateful attitude toward others. In the name of our many gods we seek empowerment, separation by color and culture to justify cruelty and abandonment of others who, too, are all human beings and equal. We choose to remain primitive selfish animals, yet, we, from our very inner core, can be otherwise. Let every person vote against taking another life, period. Let every person let the love that propels us-but, which quite often, is buried and hidden-surface. Let each of us respect every living creature, human and otherwise. If that miracle were to happen, there'd be no Warlords, no wars. Our differences should be celebrated because the joy of learning and sharing new perspectives, new music, new languages, new horizons should be deliciously embraced and not condemned. We all must smile and combine. Or, smile and stay as we are, all of us. Let us share the earth's bounty. Don't elect ignorant leaders who eagerly declare war for economic reasons or otherwise. Thanks again! Carol

This is pure poetry! To all those that feel otherwise, I say this: You are free to air your opinions, but I really liked this one. Does not matter if you dont understand. One day, we all grow up. And one day, we will all understand. Until then the world will continue to be what it is. Keep up the good work, Yusuf. Regards Ash (Rishi's Dad)

I would show my point of view frankly, poetry should select its themes from personal emotions about love, sorrow, joy, nostalgia etc. Poem could turn into songs and poetry always was to be sang, so I think your poem is nice in purpose of form but it should be said as speech before an enthusiastic mob. Please should you excuse me if you do not like my comment!
