Very touching. Earlier people warred to save or protect their territories. Now war is thurst on citizens to satisfy the personal agenda of politicians. Innocent lives are put out for nothing. All that you hear from the power mongers is... a guiltless hypocritical hollow and empty regrets. They just abrase the lips from the surrounding air. people and youth are affordable losses and just 'collateral damages'. The reason is simple. Middle class always aspired to reach this place and is a silent partner to this mayhem. If it wakes up, wish it wakes up ASAP, it is good for them as well as for the people a rung below.

Well said. War! Costs soldiers their lives, the common people their dignity if an unjust one, the workers their taxes, but makes a fortune for arms manufacturers and speculators.

Wow, a true reflection of reality, and a call for justice to be made, I sincerely respect the message in this poem, instead of a education being fed, young men are forced into paths with no future life guarantee, great piece!

Potently to the point Dave. No words wasted, and heavy hits on the main targets. Can't argue with a word of it. It's important that people who care express themselves publicly on this particular issue. Valuable stuff. jim
