War As Extended Diplomacy Poem by Terence George Craddock

War As Extended Diplomacy

Rating: 5.0

by military intervention invasion
a surgical scalpel cutting out heart
enemies economies infrastructure

giving the lie to peace a supposed
United Nations swords into plough
shears mission with UN impotence

who is surprised that soldiers kill
when supposedly fighting for peace

wake up soldiers are trained for war
not peace if soldiers were trained
for peace perhaps soldiers could

help establish peace prosperity
soldiers are not dying for peace
soldiers are willing to die for war

P2 Native American Indians were lead by war chiefs who were in the front ranks in warrior raids battles wars if tribes went on warpath war chiefs were among the first to die this probably explains the reason why raiding was more common than war Inspired by the poem 'War As Extended Diplomacy' by the poet Terence George Craddock.

P1 If Politicians Who Vote For Wars Had To Fight Wars war has been spoken of as diplomacy by other means if politicians who vote for wars had to fight wars wars would be rare events I believe wars would be rare events politicians famously protect their skins politicians cowardly run from real fights

You are welcome Richard. War has many facets, many agendas, that is why the poem ranges through War Is The Status Quo War As Extended Diplomacy Stand Up Lovers Of Peace When The Heart Cries Hero Worshipping Humanitarian Workers then completes in the unified whole, 'Civilians Children Die In Modern Wars', to touch upon and focus through differing facets, different agendas of war. All these split images are dedicated to you.

An excellent poem which perfectly sums up what war is all about. Very grateful to you for having dedicated it to me. Terence, I'm happy that my poem had been the inspiration for this magnificent poem.

War has been spoken of as diplomacy by other means, if politicians who vote for wars had to fight them, I believe wars would be rare events. Native American Indians were lead by chiefs who were in the front ranks in wars, if tribes went to war, they were among the first to die; this probably explains why raiding was more common than war.
