Your heart is feeling anxious
Your eyes hold back the tears
You're not afraid of loneliness
You've lived alone for years

But the thought that somebody
Has expressed his love for you
You're sitting home and wondering
Exactly what you're going to do

You've been through this twice before
You don't want to re-live it again
Because when you think about it
All you think of is back when

You were married twice before
Then divorce would shortly follow
That's why all these year's
Love has left your heart hollow

You let no one get close to you
You always keep your distance
That's why when it comes to love
You've always showed so much resistance

You have nothing against love
You say, it's just not for you
You want to live your life alone
And not share it with someone new
