WALKING TOWARDS LOVE
he was raised to bow before certainty without a second thought
then she walked in with sunlight on her hair and a dare in her eyes
his world shifted, a fault line opening in the floor of belief
he wondered if freedom could feel like holding her hand
they shared secrets by the sea, every wave washing away old stories
he told his family the truth, voice trembling like a leaf in the wind
some turned their backs, others reached out, and nothing stayed as it was
he discovered peace was a choice not a promise
they built a small life from borrowed courage and open windows
sometimes he still heard the voice of the old gods warning
but he kept walking beside her through the winding roads
and every step felt like coming home to somewhere new
