Walking The Blues Poem by Daniel Miltz

Walking The Blues

I wandering, forsaken, outcast
Walking down railway track
On a byway, dark path
Shadows in cloud, sway
Unknown, scenes, unlay
Venturing in obscure, nightness
On a dusky, pathway, recess
Among fly-by-night passing
Seeing dismal, spotlight, flicking
Enduring dull breathless gasping
Beneath timber nest
Arousing in measly rest
Dispersing tears on dreary stray
O' Lord, introduce a new day
I need to take off, faraway
