And may that veil of grief be lifted to reveal the radiance of genuine PRESENT love! How ironic that passion in the other person cannot be seen because he or she is grieving over a loved one long since deceased. But we humans are so skittish and unpredictable. Your poem has all the right moves to bring happiness to two lonely people. But there is an undercurrent in this poem about how strong and unbreakable is the hold of the dead one on the living one. And if that is what gives meaning to the lving one's life the other option is sadly lost.
