Walking Amongst This Garden We've Made Poem by Samuel Richard Leonard

Walking Amongst This Garden We've Made

I can taste the pressure in my chambers,
see it billow throughout my mind;
fluttering behind my eyes,
giving me butterflies.
I feel the flowers pushing up my feet,
these roots, they go deep.
Something's growing down beneath,
living, loving, giving me the air I breathe;
giving me everything I'll ever need.
