Walking Along Oxford Road, Hartlepool, In The Late 1970s. Poem by DM W

Walking Along Oxford Road, Hartlepool, In The Late 1970s.

Walking along Oxford Road talking and joking with my friends;
Walking along Oxford Road flowing with the blood wine of sacred time;
Walking along Oxford Road filled with a sweet sense of freedom;
Walking along Oxford Road while mid summer is streaming;
Walking along Oxford Road dreaming of comic book America;
Walking along Oxford Road with teeming, oceanic visions.
Walking along Oxford Road passing the rows of thriving shops;
Walking along Oxford Road endlessly dreaming and scheming.
