Yes I particularly like the second stanza, therefore enjoyed the repetition of this stanza in the fourth. The third stanza is one of the best you have ever written. Had hopes as a teenager that we would not still have to 'Walk Inside The Wind...' between 'war and peace' now. Sadly war has still not been outlawed. Kent State students, once I wrote a poem about this, among my MIA poems. So many American issues are world issues we study. Perhaps when America studies the world more also, we can all vote peace together. Peace for everyone remains my vote.

Eric, I like your style...To the point, yes...yet compendious in the regard to employing just the right measuree of pictorial dipiction...A good poem is one that the Reader is immediately drawn to for a read...A great poem is one whereupon the Reader finds themselves ensconced within the poem....and you have achieved this scenario here, at least (imo) .....~FjR~
