I like your poem. i think i tracked down your reference to a poem or book by L. Hughes titled either Don't You Turn Back..or Don't Turn Back....about 'not giving up' i guess. bri :) p.s. Be careful when being picked up by strangers! ! Or did you know 'her'?
With growing age, we have to bring about change in our life style and routine to match our body's endurance level and reflexes. The narrative is true to life and also shows the scope of compassion and humane feelings still finding its place in our blood.
