I want only
To see the light
Of morning sun
So breathtaking
I want only
Hear robin
Sing me a song
Of the bird's life
I want only
To touch such life
As was once His
To spread One Word
I want only
To taste this life
The bittersweet
With the so sweet
I now only want
To not die alone
Waking to sunrise
Watching the sunset
2) LeeAnn, it's such a crying shame that some of those poets have chosen to loosen that bond. That is certainly their prerogative! But for heaven's sake, let us know why. Otherwise, we may worry that something tragic may have occurred to them!
Through the writing of poetry, a special bond sometimes forms between poets. I believe that such a bond has formed between us and a few others on this special site.
I sincerely thank my PH friends Rose Marie Juan-austin and Dr Dillip K Swain for adding this poem to their favourites. I always consider that to be an honour.

This poem touches all senses of life; including faith. Rises and sets are beautiful, shouldn't be lonesome. Great poem, Richard
