OMG, ego's presence in love rules that moment. Amazing :)

Hahaha... That's funny but sad. Sometimes marriage becomes so much of expectations and ego that love and care just cower in a corner. Beautifully written 😊

Reminds me of the email communications i had with my business partner. we had so many arguments we had to stick to simple writteen notes which worked only for a short while til it ended the way your poem did. good sense of humor and joy to read

An interesting and a narrative write. We should not let ego come in between us and our loved ones. Take care

You describe a profound reality. In one sense, waking up means recognizing the situation and taking the necessary remedial steps to restore the relationship. In another sense, wake up means waking from the metaphorical death of that which has passed. A great work, Siddartha.

I have often keep written journals when in love, so to share my inner thoughts with that person, when time and routine seems to diminish the newness. A penned return to emotions sometimes overlooked. It serves well to rekindle dying flames. Your poem reignited thoughts of this. Excellent piece!
