Waiting Room Poem by Ray Hansell

Waiting Room

Watching all the faces
As people come and go
I can say for sure
None of them do I know

People of all races
Old, middle aged and young
Sitting here and waiting
For appointments to be done

It's a very quiet place
A doctor's waiting room
They try to make it cheerful
But there is an underlying gloom

So many people here with hope
That life will still go on
Silently hoping and praying
That life won't be done too soon

Ray, on the 4th line of the 3rd stanza, there's a little typo that needs editing- - it should read 'But there', not but the- - fingers were probably flying and you skipped a couple of letters there- - but Otherwise, it's PERFECT!
