Ha! No, Bri.....I didn't go to India. Too far and too rxpensive for a pat on the back and a paper certificate. Poet currency!

nearby? i'm too lazy to check if 'near by' is normally 'allowed'! did you have to go to India to claim the prize? ? i find some contentment (see previous comment) on PH. you help with some of it. bri :)

this flows so nicely. no rhymes needed. I especially enjoyed the first stanza; that’s how I want joy to come to me: no work on MY part! maybe that’s why I don’t think of my life in terms of ‘joy’ NOR ‘happiness’, but, instead, in terms of contentment, which for me is good enough. it HAS TO BE! and usually I have it. ice cream helps! ! I’ll send to MyPoemList. bri :)
