I believe the message here is to meet love half way. Don't wait for it to come to you. It may get lost on the journey, or perhaps just get weary of looking for you. A very interesting and enjoyable poem.
I was worried that he might have lost his phone and maybe her memory. It could not fit everything in the poem. It's important that she did not lose her feelings.
