By the sunny day and hot sands;
By the west winds and cold waves;
I found myself looking for you
Just for a mother, Like a child craves.
The more I see you, the more I think
What really matters at the dawn.
By yielding myself on your lap,
I tell to my worries; Be Gone.
Now I wait for your one glimpse,
So eager to hear your voice.
That I never lose a moment to catch,
Like you are my destiny's choice.
But my love never felt lonely,
As Your heart beats with me too.
As I was your partner in love,
I am the only one who you woo.
When our palms and fingers kiss;
You feel safe enough to make it fake
And I see no grief on your face,
Only Through me you find an escape.
We seem to live on the highest peak,
High enough for me to die for us both.
Still may be it is not enough,
Not enough for you to sworn the oath.
Is it the haunting ghost of your past
Stopping you to fall for my arms?
Or it is the world you're afraid of
Keeping ours souls apart that burns?
Is it why you buried the secrets
to seal the words with silence?
Is it why you take the booze
To hide yourself in your innocence?
Can we not mend our broken cores
With the pain we both share?
Can we not heal our wounds together
With the love, laughters and care?
Yet you are never to blame,
It is my doom, for me to bore.
It is I, failed to make you believe,
And I should have hold you more.
Yet hope is all I saved for you,
Even you break me a thousand pieces.
I'll never stop taking leaps of faith,
Till my breath stops and heart ceases.
In your presence or your absence,
I will be there even after I fall.
In this life or Next I will be waiting,
Waiting for a promise, Waiting for the call.
