Waiting Poem by Lesa MRK

Waiting

Rating: 4.0

My heart shall burst,
The kiss of your lips I do thirst.
My tears shall fall,
As cries echo down the hall.
Lonely, in this castle we have made,
Perhaps where shadows shall never fade.
And wearily I stand,
Waiting, alone in this land.
Oh, I search but cannot find,
A love like yours and mine.
When shall my dreams come true?
When can I find you?
Must I forever search,
To the ends of this earth?
And may I find my fate,
Before it's just too late?
