Just begining to learn some details about the Poems by John Burroughs. Wonderful poems.
Part of this poen is from the Bible so I can only assume you are an atheist - as well as in idiot.
My mother gave me this poem to memorize in junior high school and it helps to recite it when I am anxious and stressed.
This poem confused me for years until I finally understood it is written from Gods point of view. Even the last stanza nothing can keep my own from me is from the book of Acts
PLEASE READ MY COLLECTION! ! ! I am a young, aspiring poet. Please feel free to rate them and comment your thoughts. Thanks, Jack Growden
A nice write but i dont know why i just am not inspired by this, jut lacking something for me personally...maybe if i hadnt reviewed all morning with fresh eyes i would of read it differently but as it is i found myself sighing that it is just a bit lack lustre...... wish id picked another poem to read lol
awesome! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! .... every line.....every thought.........the poem indeed gives hope....a hope in sadness, something that insists life to be seen from a more optimistic view...though this optimism may seem far fetched sometimes.
I'll carry this poem of hope through dark days. Fate or coincidence? I don't believe in coincidence.
Why was the poem edited?
