*wait It Out** Poem by Ojeikpo Elijah

*wait It Out**

Wait it out, my dear,
In shadows where doubts creep,
Though the night feels endless,
The dawn is ours to reap,
For in the end, you'll see,
It was worth the wait to ride.

The waves may crash and thunder,
But you are not alone,
With every gust that pulls you,
You'll find your strength has grown,
For in the end, you'll see,
It was worth the wait to ride.

Don't let despair consume you,
For storms are meant to fade,
Tears meant to cease,
In the heart of every struggle,
A brighter path is laid,
For in the end, you'll see,
It was worth the wait to ride.

Each twist upon the journey,
Each stumble that you face,
Life cannot be define,
Is a step towards the wisdom
That time will soon embrace,
For in the end, you'll see,
It was worth the wait to ride.

Wait it out, with courage,
Let patience light your way,
For every tear you've shed,
Will blossom into day,
For in the end, you'll see,
It was worth the wait to ride.

The road may twist and turn,
People are always people,
Everyone on his/her route to reach,
And the climb may feel so steep,
But hold onto your vision,
And let your spirit leap,
For in the end, you'll see,
It was worth the wait to ride.

The trials you are facing,
Are merely tests of fire,
So wait it out, my dear,
And rise, with fierce desire,
For in the end, you'll see,
It was worth the wait to ride.

The wait may stretch like shadows,
But golden rays will break,
And when you reach the summit,
You'll know the path you take,
For in the end, you'll see,
It was worth the wait to ride.

So breathe in deep, hold steady,
Let hope be your refrain,
For in the heart of waiting,
You'll find your strength,
For in the end, you'll see,
It was worth the wait to ride.

Wait it out, my dear,
With faith that will not bend,
For every step you conquer,
Is a victory to send,
For in the end, you'll see,
It was worth the wait to ride.

So trust in time's unfolding,
Let motivation be your guide,
For when you finally emerge,
You'll wear your dreams with pride,
For in the end, you'll see,
It was worth the wait to ride.
