Voltas (Diamond Ring) By Eli Spivakovsky And Rabbi Kohn

High in caleum
the
dome-shaped sky finds you
I am with you
you give me
voltas instead of diamond
I give you a
sapphire-cloud that rains it
you give me a
word that echoes
I give you a
blossoming sentence:
the part inside the bloom
the dimension inside the sepal
the portion inside the bud

break open a bud for me,
poet-boy
and I give you the whole tree
and you give me
astro-poet-dreams
I will catch you
dancing
i will watch you
dance
and i will
signify you to me
and I will give you
a push
(a push, like a flirt's tease)
and you will fall backwards for me

and you will be dripping with words
words
exit your mouth, dazzling
and you will write me a forest:

there where the tiniest breath of pink-needle is found
there where the tiniest sceptre of bloom is found
there where the tiniest hibiscus of breathing is found

I will receive a proposal
and it will be given in
sumptuous wording
and in breathe your words
will comfort my finger
until they glow like it
and
finally she will harden
and the diamond inside the softness
will pollinate
and with words - stay upon me

I will wait in the sky for you
i will give you my answer
and I will be wearing your diamond ring
