5- 7- 5 is the syllable count of a conventional haiku! But now, no hard and fast rules are there, except that it should have an image of the natural world! As your first attempt, this attempt is praise worthy!
The last line was one syllable short, but other than that it fulfilled the requirements nicely

A wonderful Haiku, Volcano created mountains and let us knew that a lot of wealth is inside the earth.
Yes sir you are right but when I was writing the particular Haiku, and thinking about it the first thing that came to my mind was the destruction caused by volcanoes.
