Hi Hazem, as I told other poets in the past I wish to read a poem about love without reading a single word such as heart, happyness, bless, dream, feeling and let just the raw emotions guide the pen (or the keyboard) . The reason for that is poets are the blacksmiths of language and using age-old cliches diminishes the strength of their message. By using a word that is obvious people people do not perceive it as adding much meaning to the communication.If your lover tells you she loves you every 5 minutes you might give her a smile, but if she only tells you 'I love you' on your birthday then you know she really means it and it becomes special to you. I also know that in middle east cultures, concepts are not expressed bluntly as in the west, but more like browsing of the mind. The poet build an intricate pattern of words all in the same stile and the message reaches the audience like a tidal wave. There is value in that of course, it is called tradition. I for one like modernity and so wish to see something new every time, something that makes me think of something in a different way....why does the night make you feel voiceless? Explore that feeling... I hope the above helps and as always the above is my modes personal opinion... enea
