A great poem, may be pioneer in raising the voice in support of wild life and all living beings having no voice audible to human beings.
I really appreciate voices crying for the nature, however much insignificant they may look. Let this Voice of the voiceless be heard all over the world and even beyond. Congrats for being the poem of the day.X
It's with poems like this That the best that is in us, Is fed.
Soooooo beautiful! I love this and agree with it 900000%. You have a beautiful way with language.
Oh. My. Word. The woman writes as if her pen were made from the feathers of angel wings. God who created all creatures gave man the responsibility to take care of them [Genesis] and to not abuse them [I didn't write down that reference like the idiot I frequently can be]. In failing to take care of our fellow planet-mates we are indeed destroying inch by inch our only home in the universe. Ella Wheeler Wilcox sang it true and we best listen before it is too late to reverse the damage we have done.
And I shall fight their fight And speak the word for beast and bird..../ Great poem about the poet taking up the cause of all those who have no voice including birds and animals. Who will speak on their behalf. Thanks.
Ella was a dedicated animal rights campaigner in her day. She was way ahead of her time. And this marvellous poem speaks for itself.
