WOW! That's my initial inarticulate but heartfelt response to this poem which contains the whole experience of being human - with its painful setbacks, its ambiguous emotions, its confusing displays of passion, and then there is the mysterious inner world whose energy erupts onto the surface. I believe that's what inspired this poem: unconscious energies suddenly grabbed you and fortunately you were able to write them down. They haven't overwhelmed you. You can deal with them now in the calm aftermath of such a soul experience.
