My wife and I visited Scotland [ I was 'Screaming and Kicking', (the title of my latest poem here) . ] We boated to an island where Mary Queen of Scots lived for her protection in her teens.

TRY to control your ENTHUSIASM Mr. Sandy! ! All too soon you shall be 'over the hill' (old or at least worn out) and ready for a rocking chair; mine does not rock.

I bought a kit for one years ago in my twenties. Unfortunately it was poorly made and had to have bits chopped off to fit properly and glued together to hold bits in place

Now to read your poem.... btw, Belle is not a bad one to comment on your poem. She and I both enjoy humor, which you mentioned also in your bio here. : )

I have a fanzine editor, who grimaces at my puns and groans at my misery (you haven't seen all I've written yet, especially The Christmas epic)

(cont.) .....I KNOW from personal experience that NOT all people fly, take a bus or a train, or walk 100s of miles to take a picture showing themselves in front of a tourist attraction. : )

I frequent Pinterest and have done for a few years now because you get to see parts of the world you wouldn't normally and serendipitous sights too

I like the Poet's Notes and your bio, BUT [[ from your bio: (cont.) '(I can't abide these people who fly hundreds of miles to see something, then stand in fronton it, obscuring what is there just to prove that they have been there) ' (cont.)

I had this first happen with some Japanese tourists in Cambridge and couldn't believe it

Half past nine, your rhymes were just fine. Half past ten, start all over again. Fun!

Yes this was in the same kind of vein as John Betjamin or Pam Ayres - light and frivolous
