Visit me O dream, when the moon is full in sky,
I lay here with a tired soul;
Do come and sooth my bleary eyes.
And do come with the lore of your land,
of stars and night and your fairy freights.
O dream take me with you,
far away from this world of avarice;
of painful smiles and truthful lies.
Take me for a while to the land you live,
and to the land of which lore you speak;
let me laugh and let me play,
O dream for a while,
stop me not and let me stray.
But, O dream, hold me if I go too far,
For even if its painful and darker than the starless sky;
this is the world I live, and here shall I die!
