Vision Poem by Richard D Remler

Vision

Rating: 5.0

.......

Do not tell me
It cannot be done.

Whisper not your
Words of doubt
Into this morning sun.

Please don't sow
Your seeds of NO
Into a garden set to grow.

Don't bring about your
Shades of gray
Where hearts of
Fearless wonder play.

Because I believe that
We were meant to fly.,
Why else would nature
Paint a sky?

The waves that roll
Upon the sea
Were set there
To inspire me.

And every cloud
That doesn't cry
Brightens up
A lonely sky.

So please,
Don't handicap
My heart
Before it's had
The chance to start.
