Sir I humbly beg to differ a little with you as Swami Vivekananda remarked Himalayas escalates the highs of mind…unless the mountain peaks have that that brilliance how can it is possible… [Vide infra quote from your poem] ‘…Everything in its surrounding highlights/Its doomed authority…’ On the contrary it is possible in poets mind and here you’ve very acutely deployed your vibe and ingenious… the lows of mountains… Voted 10++ Ms. Nivedita UK

nice poem.(virgin-solitary hill) poets have long been inspired to tune their lyrics to the variations in the land scape william words worth in his solitary reaper '' Whate'er the theme, the Maiden sang As if her song could have no ending; I saw her singing at her work, And o'er the sickle bending; - I listened, motionless and still; And, as I mounted up the hill, The music in my heart I bore, Long after it was heard no more'' your virgin-solitary hill remain the above solitary reaper..thanx

Excellent, juxtaposition, of what you see and what actually is. Even the most barren has much to offer in life. Nothing is meaningless.10
