An After Death Exit Desire wish desire to exist in paradise a paradise of everlasting fruiting trees water running past for eternity; Inspired by the poem 'Viral Times' by the poet Paul T P Burne. Dedicated to the poet Paul T P Burne.
The fear of death is a universal theme because death ends all life; this poem addresses first age and lost years, then death and especially the termination of thought, the prospect of nothing. Society has many established beliefs speculating or claiming to know what eventuates after death, the answers are religious and cultural, Paul's desire become personal with a desire to exist in a paradise of everlasting fruit tress, water running past for eternity.
Really a poignant piece of poetry written with clarity of thought and mind. An insightful bit of verse. Thanks for sharing and do remain enriched.

The poem is painted with The melancholic shades of death. Reflects the time. Thanks Paul
