He deserves to be freed from loneliness. And unlike some of the other women that had been a part of his life, Christine appears to be a kindred soul. So happy to read that a deep bond had developed between them!

This is how two solitary spirits come together and share common bonding. Geeta Ji, you brought tiny particulars to flawlessness through this poem.

To love, to be loved, is a lyrical, lilting, love poem of life! Sharing your time with someone you love. It's an ode to Vincent's life bereft of loneliness. Thanks, Geeta ji.

oops! Did you mean '...he met a few painters' or, as you typed, '..he met few painters'? ? Or 'quite a few'? And whst is your use of 'Sien'? Was that Chritine's last name or nickname? bri ;)

AND: (I had to delete the 'dollar sign' from this) 'Portrait of Dr Paul Gachet still holds the record for the most expensive Van Gogh, although it sold as long ago as 1990. At Christie's it fetched 83million dollars (US, I presume) , then the highest auction price for a work by any artist.'

My BIG QUESTION is 'would I LIKE to 'bond' with Christine, like with glue? ? Maybe if I read your poem I'll get my answer, T.T. And THAT painting! I have the original......, not!

You have found so many Van Gogh paintings that I didn't know about. And this is a moving window into Vincent's tender private life. If things had gone more smoothly for him, he could have had the best of both worlds, art and domestic warmth.
