Good thing that he didn't listen to his father. Siblings can be a strange lot. Vincent was very fortunate to have the unconditional love of his brother Theo. So very very sad about Elizabeth and Cor!

This part tells about the attitude of his brothers and sisters toward Vincent. It also reflects the nature's wondrous revelations which he wanted to capture through his paintings. Succinct portrayal.

Another wonderful series, Dr. Geeta. A true and honest depiction of a family. Another great lesson in life.

Going through this sad series, it is hard to believe that our own family could never see the potentials in us. A family must nurture and inspire its members no matter what. I salute Van Gogh that despite this hindrance, he ardently continue his painting.

Another episode in the life of the great painter. How his own people dissuade him!

Any real art is a job and to do that job right you have to do it over and over again. Eventually you get it right. Excellent read.
