I like your 'North/South' term, which applied to both the American Civil War and Vietnam. Repetition of 'We fight' is effective. You answered the call to service in that theatre of war.
Brothers uniting instead of fighting. That's such a good thing; makes me want to sing. An inspiring poem.
All men fought for making our country stronger and in the end shook hands to keep the people free in peace and united under one flag.Proud to be an American and salute the flag! Thanks you to our men and woman who paid the price so bravely.

My brother, David helped me with updating the appropriate flags, the 34 star flag of the United States and the " Southern Cross" confederate flag. It had 13 stars, In Vietnam, we united together, to fight a common foe. We fought together and we died together. " God Bless America"
