We get weak during trials and struggles, only God can make us strong and colourful vessels by burning in kiln and we can enjoy wisdom. Dear Rini, you have nicely painted this in your poem. It may be quoted... my mind and soul was not in peace During trials and struggles I was weak You burned me in the kiln Made me a strong vessel Embellished me with attractive colors And filled me with your wisdom. Thanks for sharing. Beautiful and winsome is your art

This piece is my introduction to your work, and I am so pleased to have the chance to read this insightful piece. It calls to mind the scripture reference, We are His workmanship... We are His artwork- this is an intriguing and striking concept, and you have wonderfully captured this thought here, as well as the further contrast of the struggles of becoming. Bravo, good poet!

Rini, after you commended me on my Poem of the Day, I decided to check out your Poet Page. This poem almost made me cry! Written with such depth and understanding. You captured that a perfect piece of pottery is not only beautiful to behold, but strong on the inside, too, due to being fired in the kiln (oven.) What a wonderfully insightful poem! Please write more like this!

Hi Rini, Loved this poem. On the periphery, I started reading it as a thanksgiving to the creator.. Then, I found more into it. How the life's testing times make a man/woman out of a little ignorant child.. Then, but my mind and soul was not in peace During trials and struggles I was weak Weakness is human. But the burning kiln, that is life's hard ways, burned me in the kiln Made me a strong vessel Embellished me with attractive colors And filled me with your wisdom: : That is what life is! ! A 100+++ for this poem..
