What strange images she has chosen to represent mankind; stars, ships and smoke. I wonder why. It is partly idealistic, partly technological, partly vague and maybe the smoke is bad for us. And then she brings love into it all! Well, who wouldn't? But in the last verse there is a hint of things are falling apart.
and a trait, call it trait of love, emerges more purely from it all. love as supreme.. tony
