Vandals laughing on the neon painted paper walls
Ever the shallow mind just waiting for another high
Resting never in the smudging of red spray paint
Miles upon miles every shade of red from coral to ruby
I now see what seeing red is just blinding in the lights
Loving the watermelons to carve into the sharp satin
Leaving behind the wildfires and redflags a plenty
Ions in the streetlights to glow and paint the red in new colors
Overflowing to consume everything above and below
Nighttime cherry sweetened but only from a far
