We're Being Bombarded

We're being bombarded with verbal pollution
With the first letter beginning with F
You'd think man has lost his senses
And his vocabulary has nothing left
So swift they're drawn to the foulness
Satan has control of the hearts
And gives them utterance to curse unashamedly
I don't think that's very smart

I hear the excuse over and over
O everyone is doing it today
Well that doesn't make it right to me
Our conversation should be better...okay
Why should verbal pollution
Be the standard as such these days
Can't they see that the father of lies
Gets them to talk this way

We're going the way of Noah
Doing what's right in our eyes
Eating, drinking, and being merry
They're in for a big surprise
God says let no corrupt communication
Proceed from your lips my friend
If your heart hasn't been changed by Christ
Your cursing becomes repitition

If you want to see just how strong you are
Try to curtail your tongue
Try to keep it from uttering foul words
For it's there the battle is won
Only a changed heart will give you
The victory over the desire to curse
Check your heart the next time one erupts
It's verbal pollution at worse!
