Revisiting this poem. Oh, I long for the days when I can safely go back there for a chess tournament!

I like this poem of enjoying poetry and nightlife in the alluring Las Vegas.

Sounds like fun. Las Vegas is also a great place for chess tournaments! For many years the National Open was held there, but I never attended because it was held during the school year, and as a teacher, I couldn't take that much time off. Since I retired, I have played in a tournament in Reno, where I actually finished in the money! Six round tournament, won four games, lost two. Lots of fun.
