Vedic Prayer 9 - A Peace Chant From Rig Veda Samhita As Sweet As Honey
May the wind blow with sweet fragrance,
May the river flow with sweet serenity,
May the herbs grow with sweet taste,
May the nights and days be sweetly pleasant,
May the earth bestow on us the taste of sweet honey,
May the Father of heaven bring us sweet joy,
May the trees give us happiness with their sweet fruits,
May the sun bless us with pleasant illumination of sweet light,
May the directions bring us immense contentment in our sweet lives!

During this Quarantine period, there is nothing better than a prayer for the whole world. These are Peace chants from the Vedas. The best part about these' Peace chants' are that they are universal. It is not for a particular religion, cast, creed, sect, colour, language or country. It is for all human beings alike.
I have taken the liberty to translate the original Sanskrit verses into English. I, most humbly declare, that a translation can never do full justice to the original Sanskrit verse. Sanskrit has its own divine beauty and grace.

Immensely delightful for the senses and spiritually uplifting prayer which seeks to fill everything around us with utmost goodness for contentment and peace in the world. Our ancient wisdom called for overall welfare. Thanks.
