Vedic Prayer 11 - Obeisance To Brahman Poem by Geeta Radhakrishna Menon

Vedic Prayer 11 - Obeisance To Brahman

Rating: 5.0

Obeisance with folded hands!
To the Supreme Divine Consciousness,
The Brahman!

Though unborn,
Appears to be born!

Though motionless and inactive,
Appears to be active, moving all around!

To the ignorant and illusive mind,
Brahman appears as many with several attributes!

Brahman is the only One!
For those who seek and pray to the Pure Consciousness,
All fears are dispelled!

A translation and interpretation of Vedic Prayer
From Sankara's Mandukya Bhashya.
