One of the most beautiful, poetic and enlightening allegory in the whole story. It tells us about how the chariot of our body is driven by intellect with mind akin to reins and senses akin to horses. Atman or self controls the overall equation between all these forces. Here the role of Brahman and Atman seems to have merged. Thank you very much, Geeta ji.

Thank you so much for a very fine review of this poem. This allegory of a chariot is one of the best explanation ever given in the Upanishads. I feel blessed to have read such wonderful verses of the Upanishads.
