Valentine Week Days
I
Happy Rose Day
Why is this day special to feel it,
Is it the start of celebration?
It smacks of fragrance, redolence coming from,
The scent of the rose,
Roses many with a hidden symbol,
The pink rose admiration,
The yellow friendship
And the red passion and love.
On Happy Rose Day
Felt I sweet fragrance of the rose,
Sweetness and beautifulness of it,
Redolence maddening me,
Flair for fancy and imagination
With a flight of imagination,
A trail of dreams overtaking me.
No life without roses,
Roses our sweet dreams of life,
Infatuation for, fascination with,
Flair love and passion.
II
Propose Day
A day of proposition,
How to propose
Which but couples, pairs know it best,
All but loving fellows know it best
As for proposals,
Those in love can buy about
Strange fits of passion
As how to respond in love,
What it to do and when?
How the memorandum,
How the text,
How the modus operandi?
III
Chocolate Day
Chocolate,
Happy Chocolate Day,
Love expressed through
The exchange of chocolates,
Sweetness of,
A way to carry it on.
IV
Teddy Day
Teddy Day,
Happy Teddy Day
Of teddy bears,
Let she be with
Children and dolls
To see and play.
Let Belinda,
Juliet be with
Teddy bears
And have a new feel, a new experience with.
Let us have a time with doll-making,
To be with beautiful, lovely stuffed dolls,
Teddies.
V
Promise Day
Promise you,
Promise I,
You will be mine,
I shall be yours,
Promise, promise you, you,
Promise, promise shall I, I,
Reinforcement of reliability and trust
Is but most important.
VI
Hug Day
Give you a hug,
Hug you
Your loved ones
In warmth, good gesture,
Expressing love, closeness, relationship,
Wrapping your hands around
Or laying on.
VII
Kiss Day
On Kiss Day,
You kissing to love,
Loving to kiss
As if you were a red rose,
Impressing a sweet kiss on the tender cheeks,
Feeling the scent and fragrance of the rosy petals,
An apple with the red spots,
You promising to be her,
She promising to be yours
In a tender, wet voice of own
It is love you have fallen in love with madly,
A heart's matter,
It is love maddening,
Feeling the charm and worth,
It is promise galvanizing, promise materializing.
VIII
Valentine's Day, The 14th of Feb.
Valentine's Day,
14th of Feb.,
What does it say it,
What does it stand for?
Is it reminiscent of the sacrifice
He did it for love?
Is it a type of Rose Day
Of flower-buyers and sellers?
Is it to bask in the glory of love
Or to feel it the scent of the rose?
Romantically yours,
Yours romantically
Or Lovefully yours,
Yours lovefully----
Is to love to betray?
Is love only a romantic feeling?
The spectrum and range of love is vast,
Indefinable.

Valentine's Day In Retrospect
Valentine's Day (A Red Rose For You)
On Valentine's Day
Kept I seeing the beauty of the red rose,
Smelling sweet fragrance of it.
Dew drops laced petals of the florid flower
Looking so beauteous and charming,
Lovely and fresh.
Charmed by its lovely dazzling beauty,
Kept I gazing at
Held by love and its powerful emotions.

Valentine's Day,
Love Day,
Rose Day.
The altar,
The red rose
And the saint.
How deep the meaning,
How the sacrifice,
How sacrosanct and sacred is this love!
On St.Valentine's Day
Tried I to feel,
What is it love?
Has it some romantic side
Or spiritual side?
Is love of couples and pairs
Roaming
Like Romeo and Juliet
In parks,
Locked in kisses
And flower-giving?
Is Valentine's of only young people?
Young romantic guys?
Perhaps not is the answer.
It is Love Day,
Rose Day,
Flower Day.
What is love?
Have you about it?
How abstract is our feeling!
Love is a heart matter,
A thing of the heart,
But who loves by heart and soul?
Who loves the heart,
Who the soul
As we the lovers of the body,
Romantic lovers,
Not spiritual lovers?
The heart is a temple
And the worshippers going to worship
In 'The Temple of Love'
As for to worship God of Love.
Love is sacred and sacrosanct.
Love is worship
And you worship it with flowers of reverence.
But they took it for
Kisses and roses
Without caring for love spiritual and its side,
Celebrating Valentine's Day in their way
Without remembering his sacrifice.
To My Valentine
Rose petals lie in sprinkled there
With the love-struck heart picturized on
And a candle burning in memory of some loved one awaited
With the letters written in red ink
Extant as memories
Telling of an age gone by, time spent, memory lived and re-lived.
Valentine's Day
The 14th of February,
Valentine's Day,
Roses on display,
Florists busy with
Selling bouquets,
But the altar of Valentine
Telling a different saga
Of sacrifice and love.

Valentine Day Celebration
Love heart image pictured red upon
With a candle burning
Into someone's memory
Dripping
And a few love letters
Written in red ink
Memorial of
With the rose petals sprinkled around.
